My private sunset Whale Watching / Marine Wildlife Tour is more of a “classic whale watching tour” without a schedule and without crowds. We will be in the area around the Broughton Archipelago, Queen Charlotte Strait, Blackfish Sound and Johnstone Strait in search of killer whales, humpback whales, dolphins, bald eagles, sea lions, seals, other marine wildlife and birds.

No wildlife sightings can be guaranteed (expect nothing and be happily surprised). We do see Humpback Whales, Sea Otters, Eagles, Seals and Sea Lions on almost every tour, Black Bears and Orca Whales on many (in season!), Dolphins on some of the tours.
I never had anyone getting seasick on my boat. I operate only in protected waters, not the open ocean. While the Broughton tour is fairly protected, I do not recommend it for pregnant women or guests with back problems.
I can’t guarantee you wildlife, but I can guarantee you to do everything in my power to make it the very best day for you possible.
We will leave in the afternoon for this sunset whale-watching and marine wildlife tour.
With a maximum of 4 guests we are flexible and will decide after we left where to go, based on weather and wildlife sightings.
We will most likely stay around Queen Charlotte Sound, Blackfish Sound, and Johnstone Strait. In addition to watching killer whales and humpback whales, we will still look for other marine mammals like dolphins, sea lions, and seals. If time allows, we will also spend some time watching and photographing birds, including bald eagles.
We also will be listening to the whales via our hydrophone, a underwater microphone. It is always a treat hearing the amazing sounds of the northern resident orcas.
It is very special to be on the water during the magic sunset hours to watch whales and other wildlife.
